ヒートポンプ・ガスヒーター・電気抵抗・太陽熱のプール暖房コストを比較します。
Enter your pool volume, current and target water temperatures, electricity rate ($/kWh), and gas rate ($/therm). The calculator computes the BTU needed to heat the water and compares costs across four heating technologies.
Heat pumps (COP 5) are the most efficient option, using electricity to move heat rather than generate it. Gas heaters are faster but cost more per BTU. Electric resistance is simple but expensive. Solar is cheapest to run once installed.
These costs represent a single heating cycle. For seasonal operating costs, multiply by how often you need to reheat — typically once per week in spring/fall and less often in summer once the pool is at temperature.
